Obeg Flea Market

The flea market took place in the cave-themed basement of Hongdae’s Obeg Club. Tibetan prayer flags hung from the ceilings and several vendors wore elaborate gypsy costumes (otther sellers might be more readily identified as hippies or hipsters – two groups that do not regularly co-mingle). The selection of vintage and handmade goods was both cheap and eclectic; cocktails were being sold despite the early hour, as well as vegan brownies. In other words, I really, really liked the place.

What I bought: roasted sweet potatoes, a portrait, a wallet, and two hand-made pins
